Do you need to switch off, rethink your priorities, or find yourself again?
Self-knowledge
The purpose of a stay (not only) in darkness is your own will, the feeling that this is your path, and the desire to know yourself in all aspects of life.
Solving problems
A stay (not only) in darkness can bring inspiration, new ideas, renewed strength, perhaps new perspectives, and a reunion with yourself.
Meaning of being
Finding a new path, setting a new sense of life in motion.
Discovering who you truly are and self-acceptance, or finding your own sense of self-worth.
Inspiration and rest
In darkness and in silence, answers may come to questions long asked – as well as to new questions yet to come.
About the therapy
Darkness therapy is an ancient and traditional method of self-knowledge. It draws on the original tradition of yangtik, practised by monks in Tibet, who would remain in darkness for up to seven weeks. The method is based on sensory deprivation – the absence of sensory stimuli from the outside environment. The purpose of the stay is your own will, whether you call it a dream, the feeling that this is your path, the desire to know yourself.
